Vice President, North America Sales and Business Development, ControlScan
Gregory Leos has nearly 20 years of experience working in senior management positions in both the electronic payments and data security industries. As vice president of North American sales and business development for ControlScan, Leos is responsible for leading a team of payments industry professionals to expand the company’s footprint as an expert provider of PCI compliance and data security solutions for small to mid-sized businesses (SMBs) and the acquirers serving them. Leos also heads up the company’s relationship management function, which proactively engages and supports ControlScan’s many industry partners.
Immediately prior to joining ControlScan, Leos was president of North America for Sysnet Global Solutions, where he oversaw all aspects of the company’s business operations within the region as well as the company’s worldwide sales strategy for its flagship product. Leos previously served as vice president of payment partner programs for Trustwave and has held senior-level positions with several large merchant acquiring organizations, including Wells Fargo, WorldPay and Global Payments.
Leos is considered an industry thought leader on the topics of payments, data security and business leadership. He is frequently invited to speak at educational conferences and is a member of the advisory board for the payments industry publication The Green Sheet. Active with the Electronic Transactions Association (ETA) for many years, Leos currently serves as the association’s Education Committee chair.
